To achieve our Health and Safety objectives we shall set objectives and target our efforts to prevent harm to employees and customers, and others who come onto our sites.
We are committed to complying with relevant laws, regulations and standards for occupational health and safety.
Our health and safety approach
We have a structured health and safety management approach in place to ensure we deliver our policy and objectives:
A preventative approach
We continuously work to improve health and safety by taking proactive measures to prevent accidents at all of our sites.
Health and safety management
Each of our factories has a health and safety team made up of a cross-section of employees who meet regularly to consider health and safety issues and recommend actions to help prevent accidents.
Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) representatives from each site also meet monthly with EHS management to discuss issues and share ideas.
We also prioritise collaboration between our sites, so that we can share best practices and achieve improvements across the company.
Health and safety reporting
Health and safety performance is monitored and measured on a monthly basis. The results are presented in a report which covers all incidents and accidents that may have occurred. It also includes the root cause of the accidents and lists the corrective and preventive actions taken to mitigate the risks.
